Cursor connects to Royal MCP through its settings UI, no manual JSON file needed.
- Open Cursor Settings → MCP → Add Server.
- Paste the same URL you used for Claude:
https://yoursite.com/wp-json/royal-mcp/v1/mcp. - Set the Authorization Header to
Bearer your-api-key-here, using the API key from Royal MCP’s settings screen.
That is the same URL and key as the Claude setup, MCP servers are client-agnostic by design, so once Royal MCP is configured on the WordPress side, connecting a second client is just re-entering the same two values.
