Course 2 gave you a working MCP server with at least one registered ability, serving over HTTP with Application Password authentication. That server is useless until something talks to it. This course is where that changes: you’ll connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, and ChatGPT to your site, then build the patterns that turn a handful of tool calls into an actual assistant, draft-only publishing defaults, confirmation gates before anything destructive runs, and multi-step workflows that chain several abilities together to finish a real task.
This course assumes you completed Build a WordPress MCP Server From Scratch and have a live, publicly reachable MCP endpoint with a registered ability to point a client at. If you don’t have that yet, start there first, this course does not re-teach registering abilities or setting up the adapter.
