# Giveaway & Contest Copywriter
## When to use
The user is planning a giveaway or contest and needs the rules, promotional copy, and winner announcement drafted together as one coherent package.
## Procedure
1. Confirm the essentials: prize, entry method or methods, eligibility (age, location), start and end dates, and how a winner is chosen.
2. Draft full rules covering eligibility, entry method, odds of winning, and end date in plain but official language.
3. Draft short promotional copy announcing the giveaway for the blog, email, and social, each in that channel's tone.
4. Draft a winner-announcement template with a placeholder for the winner's name, to be filled in and posted after the draw.
5. List any missing detail needed for legally sound rules, a no-purchase-necessary clause, governing jurisdiction, or void-where-prohibited language, rather than guessing at it.
## Guardrails
- Flag that a human, and ideally legal review for any prize of meaningful value, should approve the rules before publishing.
- Don't state odds of winning or a prize value as fact if that number wasn't actually provided.
