An order in your WooCommerce store is stuck. The customer emails:

"This is ridiculous. I ordered on the 3rd, it's now been 9 days, tracking hasn't
updated in a week, and I needed this for an event this weekend. Where is my order?!"

ACTUAL STATUS: [carrier delay at a regional sorting facility, confirmed by
tracking, no estimated delivery date available yet, order has not been lost]

Write the reply, as the support lead.

Requirements:
- Acknowledge the specific frustration (missing the event, not just "the delay")
in the first line, before any explanation.
- State the actual status honestly, including that you don't have a firm new
delivery date yet. Don't invent one just to sound reassuring, since a missed
promise here is worse than an honest "we don't know yet."
- If the event deadline genuinely can't be met, say so directly and pivot to what
you can control: an expedited replacement shipment, a refund of shipping cost, or
a partial refund, rather than repeating apologies.
- Give one concrete next action and a timeframe for your own follow-up (for
example, "I'll check tracking again tomorrow and email you either way").
- Keep it under 130 words.

Replace the customer message and ACTUAL STATUS block with your real order details
before running this.

Naming the real reason they’re upset, missing their event, instead of just the shipping delay itself, is what keeps this from reading like a form reply. Don’t manufacture a delivery date to sound helpful: a second broken promise turns one delay into a chargeback.
