Convert a bullet-point press release into a blog announcement

Reframes press-release bullets and executive-quote boilerplate into a benefit-led blog post, while keeping legally qualified claims like "up to X%" intact instead of quietly rounding them up.

The prompt

You write the company blog for a WordPress form-builder plugin. PR just sent over
the press release bullets for a new feature launch and asked for a blog version
that doesn't read like a press release.

PRESS RELEASE BULLETS: [
"- [Company] today announced the launch of Conditional Logic 2.0
- Feature allows forms to show/hide fields based on up to 10 prior answers, up from 3
- CEO quote: 'We're thrilled to bring this powerful new capability to our users'
- Available now to all Pro and Business tier customers
- About [Company]: founded 2016, serves 200,000+ websites"]
AUDIENCE: [existing customers on Pro/Business plans deciding whether to try the new
feature]

Work through this before drafting:
1. Find the actual news buried in the bullets, the meaningful change here is "10
prior answers instead of 3," not "we're thrilled to announce." Lead with what
changed for the user, not the announcement of the announcement.
2. Cut corporate boilerplate ("About [Company]," forward-looking language) unless a
short version belongs at the very bottom. Executive quotes stay only if they add
real information, an empty "we're thrilled" quote should be cut or rewritten to
   actually say something.
3. Translate each bullet into what the reader can now DO, with a concrete example (a
multi-step form that shows a shipping question only if the buyer picked "physical
product" three questions earlier), not just a restated feature list.
4. Edge case: any qualified claim like "up to 10 prior answers" must stay qualified
in the blog version. Don't round "up to 10" into a flat "now supports 10", that
changes the claim's accuracy and could misrepresent the feature.
5. Add a short "how to try it" section since the audience is existing customers who
can act on this today, not press who are just reading for coverage.

Draft the full announcement post: a benefit-led title, an opening that states the
concrete change, a walkthrough example, and a closing CTA to try the feature.

Replace the bracketed press release bullets and audience above with your own.

Press releases are written for journalists and blog posts are written for people who already use the product, so the framing has to flip completely rather than just getting a lighter copy edit. Keep the qualified language (up to, in most cases) intact even when it reads less punchy, since that’s usually there for a legal reason, not a stylistic one.
